Our history

Victor Chalendard is a 17 year old high school student, passionate about history and curious about the conservation of French and international heritage. In order to offer an alternative to the closure of museums caused by the health crisis, Victor had the idea to create a platform that lists the most beautiful virtual tours around the globe.

Through the VCA application, the idea was to offer access to culture to as many people as possible. The experience is done virtually, from your home.

Our missions

To allow the greatest number of people to have unlimited and instant access to culture.

To propose an intuitive application that gathers different free virtual visits in the world.

As well as to make discover cultural places to people who don't necessarily have access to them. It is also an invitation to physically discover these places.

Our values

Discovery

Museums, historical monuments, remarkable heritage sites ... A real gold mine, visitors to the application can discover or rediscover places of arts and culture located near them or at the other end of the world, thanks to the virtual tours offered on VCA.

Escape

Escape from your daily life, have fun through art... While broadening your general knowledge and building a course adapted to your desires.

Accessibility

A democratization of art made possible by digital technology. You can explore a panel of works and artists known or unknown. "Culture at your fingertips.”

Handover

To (re)discover places and their history.

The expert of the month

Some of the virtual tours available in the VCA application are enhanced by a legitimate figure from the world of culture, the expert of the month. The expert is above all a recognized specialist in his or her field. The expert contributes to making culture accessible to all, by promoting a virtual exhibition, thanks to an interview with the creator of Virtual Culture Access and published exclusively on the VCA app. The role of the expert is preponderant, his opinion gives value to the virtual tours proposed within the application.

Tutorials Point

Virtual Culture Access (VCA) is a free mobile application available on all download platforms. The application allows you to virtually visit museums, monuments and other cultural places around the world.
